KokoUnited Kingdom
Koko is a large ornate theatre in the north London borough of Camden. The impressive late 1800s facade sets the tone for party goers who are swept into the impressive three-storied interior.
On the ground floor is a stage on which a wide selection of bands both established and up'n'coming sweat for your entertainment. Club nights too utilise the 1500 capacity venue for dj-led events.
VIPs enjoy the privacy of first and upper circles with their clear views of the stage and dedicated bars.
In its previous incarnations as Camden Palace, Music Machine and the Palace Theatre, the venue hosted guests as diverse and notable as Charlie Chaplin, the Goon Show, the first wave of punk bands including the Clash and the Sex Pistols, synthesiser luminaries the Eurythmics, extravagant parties hosted by Prince and attended by industry celebs Grace Jones and, er, Wham!, and Madonna's first ever UK gig.
