More Egg parties

In this age of anonymous bitching via the internet, it's quite remarkable to find a venue as well received as the Egg in London's Kings Cross.

Of course it helps the entertainment program is diverse thus catering for a wide spectrum of the clubbing community, many of whom hate each other's guts.

From the classic house and techno of ex-pat Chicagoan Robert Owens (the silky-voiced singer of 'Tears' with Frankie Knuckles and 'Mine to Give' with Photek), to the accessible sounds of Papadisco, the electro goth clash of Synthetic Disco and the magnificent minimalosity of Jaded's Sunday sessions and others, you've got a world of music in one three storied building.

The cracked embryo of legendary Trade promoter Laurence Malice, the 1000+ capacity Egg has drawn plaudits for its clubber-focused design.

Funktion 1 sound systems, which sound pretty special even to the untrained ear, are installed. There's a garden with space for 160 complete with lounging hammocks, the second storey with its own dance floor and balcony, and also the Loft with a full cocktail menu and separate entrance for extra special people.

They even put on a free shuttle bus from Kings Cross.

Please note you must be 18 or over to attend events at the Egg.
